Programs range from training for future maritime professionals to schemes to foment social and academic inclusion, educational support activities and courses focusing on sailing as a sport or hobby.
1. Training Programs |
Training activities and professional certification in specific maritime skills and the tasks involved in traditional navigation. |
2. Educational Programs |
Support activities geared toward schools and high schools with a view to supplementing their curricula. |
3. Social Programs |
Activities intended for specific groups with special educational needs (development of adapted curricula) and/or as part of social insertion processes. This is the framework within which the “Grumet Exit” (Cabin Boy and Cabin Girl Success) program is run. The program is promoted by the City of Barcelona’s Institute of Sport and sponsored by the Laureus SPORT FOR GOOD FOUNDATION, and it is carried out in conjunction with the Barcelona Education Consortium. |

Activities to promote traditional sailing and related culture linked to public, citywide and participatory events. |
5. Cultural Exchange Programs |
Activities linked to the international Tall Ships Races movement, nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. |
